Dave's Habanero Spicy Arizona Onion & Beer Chili!

Make the chili as hot as you like by using a Habanero Seasoning packet, (season to taste) or
use fresh habanero chilis: 1 for mild, 2 for med, 4 for hot, 8 for Xhot, seeded and chopped.

2 pounds ground beef chuck
1 pound of bacon
2 large white onions, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
4 fresh habanero chili, chopped
6 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp cinnamon ground
2 (14.5 ounce) cans diced tomatoes with juice
2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 (12 fluid ounce) can beer
1 (15 oz.) cans pinto beans
1 cup anasazi beans (cook)
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

Add Ingredient:

Crumble the ground chuck and pices of bacon into a skillet over medium heat. Cook, stirring
occasionally until evenly browned. Transfer the beef and bacon with grease in to a large soup
pot. Add onions, peppers, habaneros, garlic, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, worcestershire,
beer, habaneros and chili beans.

Optional:
Eat with soda crackers and season with red pepper flakes.

Cover the pot, and simmer over low heat for 2 hours. Turn off heat, and let cool, then
refrigerate for two days. It gets much better with time. Heat and serve.

Comments:

This was definitely the best chili I have ever made. I am really picky about the kinds of
chili I like. It had excellent flavor. I made it with the amounts of "hot stuff" that were
stated in the recipe, and it was perfect if you like some heat. It had kick, but not too
overwhelmingly hot. I served it to a crowd, and they all raved about it. This will
definitely be made again and again.
